Venture Loan for Startups

Who can apply:

• Legal entities registered in Uzbekistan.
• Startups registered and selected on the startupbase.uz platform.
• Startups with a transparent credit history and a clear business plan.

What expenses are covered:

• Loan funds up to 300 million UZS at an interest rate (Central Bank base rate + 4%).
• Loan terms vary from 6 months to 3 years.

Attach all required documents:

• Accounting documents: balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement.
• Tax declaration.
• Detailed business plan (objectives, market analysis, profitability forecast, risks).
• Certificate of state registration of the legal entity.
• Incorporation documents.
• Decision from the startup’s founders on their intention to receive loan funds.

Purposes of using the loan funds:

• Product development.
• Market entry.
• Business expansion.
• Other purposes (as stated in the application).

Application review procedure:

• Submission stage: The application is submitted via your personal account on startupbase.uz.
• Verification stage: Completeness and compliance of documents are checked by the venture fund’s expert group within 30 business days.
• Decision-making stage: The Investment Committee reviews the application and makes a decision.
• Contract signing stage: If approved, the contract is signed, and the funds are transferred to the applicant’s bank account within 5 banking days.

Reasons for rejection:

• Incomplete or incorrect information.
• Non-compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Poor or no credit history.
• Violation of the rules for targeted use of the loan funds.

Error correction:

• If errors are found in the application, the applicant will be notified via email.
• Corrections must be made through the personal account on the platform, after which the application must be resubmitted.
